United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is seeking to engage Qualified professionals with land and shallow marine seismic experience in the following fields for our operations in Nigeria.

Qualification:

·             All applicants must posses a minimum of second class University Degree in their respective fields.

·             Professional certification and a masters Degree will be an added advantage

Key requirements for all positions:

·             All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years seismic experience.

·             Applicants must posses good technical abilities.

·             Applicants must be computer literate and have good communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work as part of a team.

 

EXPERIENCED SEISMIC SURVEYOR

Key Requirements include:

• Minimum of 3 years field experience in GP seismic processing static & real time mode and 3D geophysical survey.

 

EXPERIENCED SEISMOLOGIST

Key Requirements include:

• Working knowledge of 3D planning and design.
• Working knowledge of Omni, Promax and SPW field processing software.EXPERIENCED SEISMIC ENGINEER

Key Requirements includes:

·             Applicants are expected to be very conversant in the use of Sercel 428, 408 ULS and Unite recording equipment. Knowledge of Airgun Electronics and Vibroseis Electronics would be an added advantage.

·             Competency in networking, installation and repair of radio communication equipment (HF& VHF). Ability to troubleshoot Electrical/Electronic faults.

·             Knowledge of UNIX would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCED SEISMIC OBSERVERS

Key Requirements Includes:

·             Working knowledge in the use of Sercel 428, 408 ULS and Unite recording systems.

·             Experience in the use of airgiun and vibroseis source system would be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER

Key Requirements include:

·             Minimum of 10 years Seismic acquisition management experience.

·             Strong organization and stakeholder management skills.

·             Applicant should have experience with process implementation and or change management.

EXPERIENCED SEISMIC DRILLERS

Key Requirements include:

·             Experience of single deep hole and bore hole drilling techniques and practices.

Remuneration

Compensation package to be offered to the successful applicants in the above positions will be negotiated depending on the level of experience and capability.
